This customer builds machines for eye surgery，these machines have 5 motors that control moving parts going into the eye etc...。These motors have batteries，however if there is a power outage，or one of the motors dies， they want to be able to have energy on the pcb to drive the motors into a safe mode， to prevent damage to the system or the patient。 There are 10 Tecate supercapacitors per machine， and we are sole sorced due to our 85C upper limit on our temperature range。
